FAQ

Which type of dog can join the courses?

Dogs of all breeds, shapes, and sizes are welcome, as long as you respect their limits. Many disabled dogs can also participate, depending on their specific condition. If you’re unsure whether your dog is suited for an activity, we recommend consulting your veterinarian.

How old should my dog be?

For pulling sports like canicross and bikejoring, your dog should be fully grown, usually between 12 to 18 months old, depending on their breed and individual development. Older dogs can also join, they just might not pull as hard or fast as they did when they were younger. Water sports can be started when your dog is young.

Always keep an eye out for signs of fatigue and adjust the activity to fit your dog's age and needs. If you have any concerns, consult your veterinarian.

My dog is reactive or has too much energy. Can we join?

Absolutely! Exercise and outdoor activities are wonderful ways for both you and your dog to reduce stress and anxiety. Channeling your dog's high energy into running or other activities helps them use their natural skills and calm down. Participating in these activities often helps improve their mental health significantly.

Do I need special equipment?

Most activities do require some basic equipment such as a pulling harness or bungee leash. Each course will cover what necessary and optional gear you’ll need, along with advice on how the right equipment can transform your experience for the better.

Are the courses available year-round?

Yes, you can join any time and from anywhere in the world.

Always ensure that the weather conditions and temperatures are safe for your dog.

Do I need prior experience to join the courses?

From beginner to expert, everyone can join! Each course is associated with a skill level. If you are a novice in a sport, we highly recommend you start with the beginner's course.
